“ Been looking to this place for ages – it’s right round the corner from my flat, and I’m kicking myself I didn’t go sooner. The chilli oil beef with Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles were a standout – perfect chew, great flavour and the beef was tender. The pork dumplings were also top tier – juicy, packed with meat and honestly as good as any I had on my trip to China. Massive portion too. The prawn noodles were a bit more underwhelming – noodles still had that great texture, but the dish lacked the same punch of flavour. Also tried the chicken hearts – seasoned well and fun to try, though definitely more of a novelty pick. The cold Chinese salad was a nice little appetiser to graze on – super cheap and refreshing. For the size of the portions, the pricing is really reasonable - we were 39 for all that – great value for what you get. And if you can’t finish it, takeaway tubs are just 20p. “ Went here for the first time, we tried different noodles and got a plate of the pork dumplings to share. The noodles are great, you can really tell they are freshly made. My favourite was the Beef Flank with stretched noodles, they were great and the chunks of beef just melted in your mouth, though all the dishes were good! ”

“ Very authentic food so fresh and delicious! It was difficult to get a picture before someone dug into it. Cosy place with open kitchen wherein you can watch hand pulled noodles being freshly made nonstop. Generous portions- one main shared between two and still had leftovers. The lady warned us that we ordered too much but we didn’t realise until we got them. Sichuan hotpot, chicken pickle noodles, fried rice were top class! One has to order at the counter and pay cash but food was brought to table real quick! Will go back soon! ”
